Jean-Pierre Rampal: Bach & Telemann Flute Concertos

This week, we are still in the classical section with Jean-Pierre. This album released in 1974 on Odyssey (Columbia) is with the Saar Radio Chamber Orchestra conducted by Karl Ristenpart. The favorites here are Telemann. They are light and melodic. It's great music for a Sunday afternoon and a glass of your favorite wine.
Bach: Concerto in G Minor and A Minor (originally for violin)
Telemann: Concerto in C Major and D Major
So, here we are Major to Minor! Relax and Enjoy!

The digitizing is excellant, a very clean copy. Rampal's sound is clear and almost fluid like, and is vibrato is relaxing, not short and nervous sounding. A great post.
